If you switch wallet no need to have a signing procedure, just connect with one click is good enough. For example, if you use watchlist feature.

Is it possible to hide the NFTs that are flagged by OpenSea? Most people don't want to buy those and being able to remove those from the field would be awesome.

If you are entering characters into the search bar (the search bar is active), then when you hover over your profile, the menu is displayed behind the search, and the profile menu is not visible.
